Ajax was born in the midst of a frenzied battle. It is said that the cry of his first breath was louder than the war raging around him, and its terrifying effect turned the tide in favor of his fellow tribesmen.
Ajax spent his youth wandering with his tribe in the seemingly endless ruins of a sprawling metropolis of a long forgotten empire. Conflict with monsters and raiding parties was perpetual, forging him into an instrument of war. He was acknowledged as a warrior by his tribe long before we was of age.
On the day he came of age, an ancient soothsayer declared that Ajax must strike out on his own to find his destiny…
