This lonely structure is a tall, seven-sided spire of pale green stone that doesn’t match anything else in the town. It is the seat of Sparrowfax’s Arcanist’s Guild, an order of a half dozen wizards and arcane scholars. Defensive enchantments prevented the Tieflings from sacking the tower, but several of guild’s members died fighting for the city or fled to safer lands. The tower is now the sole residence of Dryanne Nimrozaran Nimrozaran (human), the youngest member of the guild who made her name by successfully leading a group of citizens in providing an escape route for fleeing commoners during the Tiefling attack. The other guild members are out adventuring or live in seclusion outside the city walls.
Dryanne gained further renown after leading the townsfolk against a massive invasion of undead and goblins organized by Kalarel to provide fodder for his dark master, Orcus.
Dryanne expects any potential new guild members to pay a hefty initiation fee. Dryanne was also recently elected Mayor of Sparrowfax even though her seat on the Council was guaranteed as head of the Arcanist’s Guild. She can teach a limited number of rituals, including Comprehend Language, Eye of Alarm, and Enchant Magic Item.
